About the role

  • Own and deliver regional revenue and profitability at scale
  • Expand surgeon engagement, deepen account penetration, and accelerate procedural adoption
  • Convert company strategy into executable field plans that drive results quickly
  • Maintain direct involvement with top surgeons, key accounts, and strategic distributors
  • Hold the field accountable through disciplined forecasting, opportunity tracking, and performance tracking
  • Design and execute annual and quarterly regional growth plans aligned with company targets
  • Establish and enforce quotas, pricing discipline, inventory control, and execution standards
  • Identify underperformance early and take decisive corrective action
  • Continuously assess territory design, coverage, and distributor effectiveness
  • Provide real‑time market intelligence on competition, pricing pressure, and customer demands
  • Recruit and deploy high‑impact sales talent capable of performing in competitive markets
  • Personally coach representatives through consistent, demanding field engagement
  • Set clear expectations and drive accountability through metrics and results
  • Rapidly identify top performers and develop future leaders
  • Address performance gaps quickly—growth requires speed, clarity, and follow‑through

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of medical device sales experience in Shoulder Arthroplasty with sustained quota overachievement
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in a high‑growth or scaling organization
  • Proven ability to build teams, drive rapid adoption, and outperform competitors
  • Experience managing both direct and distributor sales models
  • Strong financial acumen related to profitability and resource allocation
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, change, and accountability
  • Confident, credible presence with surgeons, sales teams, and executives
  • Valid driver’s license required
