About the role
- Drive initiatives to improve the accuracy and consistency of financial reports through robust data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with Finance and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve data discrepancies, acting as a key point of contact for system integrity issues.
- Implement and maintain system-driven controls to safeguard financial data, and support internal and external audits.
- Support the integration of NetSuite with other internal and external systems.
- Support the automation of financial accounting and reporting processes by contributing to ongoing projects.
- Contribute to improving the degree of accuracy of Finance data through system controls and process documentation.
- Drive operational efficiency by supporting the implementation of new solutions, including AI-enabled ones.
- Act as a key partner to internal stakeholders, providing essential technical expertise and bridging gaps between different departments.
- Work closely with Product Managers to support QC and rollout of new system solutions.
- Promote a culture of accountability and compliance by assisting with the end-to-end documentation of key processes.
Requirements
- Strong data competencies in SQL, Python or any other languages
- Must have Finance, Accounting domain expertise; understanding of Finance business processes is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally from e-commerce or tech companies
- Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale
- Strong problem-solving, project management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or a related major
