About the role

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial reporting using data analysis and quality control
  • Drive initiatives to improve accuracy and consistency of financial reports through data validation and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Data, and Operations to investigate and resolve data discrepancies and act as point of contact for system integrity
  • Implement and maintain system-driven controls and support internal and external audits
  • Support integration of NetSuite with other internal and external systems
  • Support automation of financial accounting and reporting processes and contribute to system controls and documentation
  • Drive operational efficiency by supporting implementation of new solutions, including AI-enabled ones
  • Act as change ambassador educating and empowering finance teams on system functionalities, process improvements and best practices
  • Partner with Product Managers to support QC and rollout of new system solutions
  • Assist with end-to-end documentation of key processes to promote accountability and compliance

Requirements

  • Strong data competencies in SQL, Python or any other languages
  • Must have Finance, Accounting domain expertise; understanding of Finance business processes is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally from e-commerce or tech companies
  • Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or a related major.
