• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for the OTC and open-choice segments successfully.
• Conduct annual and terms negotiations with manufacturers – with a special focus on central KPIs such as purchase discounts, rebates and payment terms.
• Analyze and optimize KPI-based control metrics such as margin, sales development, delivery performance and sales dynamics.
• Identify assortment growth and margin potential and align it with company objectives.
• Work closely with Retail Media, Category Management and Demand & Supply to derive and implement joint measures.
• Monitor and analyze market and competitive developments in the OTC and open-choice segment as a basis for strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain sustainable, partnership-based relationships with manufacturers.
