About the role
- You are the person who ensures that interest turns into real projects.
- You will work closely with the founding team and take responsibility for building our commercial division.
- Engage in discussions with operations management, technical leads, and plant managers.
- Understand technical requirements and translate them into solutions together with our team.
- Build and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Structure proposals, track deals, and bring them to a close.
- Build sales structures (CRM, pipeline, proposal logic, account management).
- Identify and develop new markets and industries.
- Establish strategic partnerships with customers, sales partners, and technology partners.
- Collect market feedback and, together with the CEO and CTO, translate it into product and business decisions.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical background
- Experience in B2B sales of industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience structuring and closing complex deals
- Ability to engage with operations management and technical decision-makers on equal footing
- Experience building sales structures or commercial functions
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you prefer to build structures yourself rather than wait for them
- Willingness to travel frequently (Germany & Europe)
- Fluent in German and English
- Nice to have, but not required: experience with industrial plants, energy projects, or the process industry
- Experience in deep-tech or hardware startups.
