About the role

  • You are the person who ensures that interest turns into real projects.
  • You will work closely with the founding team and take responsibility for building our commercial division.
  • Engage in discussions with operations management, technical leads, and plant managers.
  • Understand technical requirements and translate them into solutions together with our team.
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Structure proposals, track deals, and bring them to a close.
  • Build sales structures (CRM, pipeline, proposal logic, account management).
  • Identify and develop new markets and industries.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with customers, sales partners, and technology partners.
  • Collect market feedback and, together with the CEO and CTO, translate it into product and business decisions.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical background
  • Experience in B2B sales of industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience structuring and closing complex deals
  • Ability to engage with operations management and technical decision-makers on equal footing
  • Experience building sales structures or commercial functions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you prefer to build structures yourself rather than wait for them
  • Willingness to travel frequently (Germany & Europe)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Nice to have, but not required: experience with industrial plants, energy projects, or the process industry
  • Experience in deep-tech or hardware startups.
