About the role

  • Drive new business to attain revenue targets using self-sourcing techniques
  • Self-source prospects using databases, online searches, cadences, marketing campaigns, referrals and other means
  • Qualify prospects and sell ShipBob’s value propositions for operational fit
  • Connect with potential customers (self-sourced and pre-vetted) to determine mutual fit
  • Move customers efficiently through the sales process, set expectations, and manage short sales cycles
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms and partnership agreements
  • Maintain thorough understanding of ShipBob’s tech offerings and operational capabilities
  • Maintain an updated, clean pipeline and CRM notes for accurate forecasting
  • Provide feedback to management to improve the sales process and Merchant experience
  • Ensure proper handoff to the post-sales team
  • Identify local market nuances and help improve processes, tools and documentation
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary
  • Report to the Manager, Client Acquisition; target medium-sized ecommerce merchants in Spain

Requirements

  • At least 18 months as an Account Executive or Sales Representative in the eCommerce fulfillment or OMS/WMS/TMS tech space
  • Ability to foster great teamwork and motivate those around you
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Established track record of success in a Sales position
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Computer skills, especially MS Excel and CRM software
