Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the implementation and execution of the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities and/or products
Ensure product supply and ongoing cross-functional coordination
Deliver annual improvements in total cost, quality, and service
Support development of strong business systems to manage supplier partnerships
Monitor and uphold contractual requirements related to managed products
Champion annual productivity improvements and pursue continuous quality improvement and cost reduction opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of sourcing or operations experience or equivalent in Pharma or Medical Device industry
B.S. or B.A. degree in scientific, technical, or business discipline
Knowledge of quality systems and cGMPs
Experienced with third party vendor manufacturing management
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to travel, up to 50%
