Liquidity Sales
Shift MarketsLiquidity Sales Professional selling liquidity solutions alongside Shift Markets’ crypto exchange platform. Engaging with institutional clients and building a pipeline in multiple regions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and identify market opportunities for liquidity services, including exchanges, brokers, and institutional clients.
- Sell Shift Markets’ liquidity solutions, including pricing and connectivity to liquidity providers, as part of a broader exchange technology offering.
- Engage with market makers, liquidity providers, and institutional counterparties to structure viable liquidity setups.
- Pitch tailored solutions to clients, explaining trading mechanics, pricing models, and what will or will not work for their business.
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, from early-stage conversations through to contracts and live trading.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the VP of Sales, CEO, and Head of Trading, to design and refine liquidity offerings.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and meetings to build long-term relationships and expand market presence.
- Take ownership of the first 6–12 months of buildout, balancing sales execution with strategic development of the liquidity product.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7+ years of experience selling financial services or trading-related products (e.g. FX, equities, derivatives, institutional sales)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of trading concepts, market structure, and pricing (crypto experience is beneficial but not required)
- Proven “hunter” mentality with the ability to build a book of business from scratch.
- Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and institutional clients with credibility and professionalism.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential for candidates with strong relevant experience.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Arabic is preferred.
- Existing network within fintech, crypto, or financial services ecosystems is nice to have.
