Key responsibilities & impact

Perform benefits investigations and verify insurance coverage
Utilize approved tools, EMR systems, and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems (PDS)
Review patient medical records to confirm medication regimens
Accurately document investigation outcomes
Collaborate with team members to support high-quality patient care
Identify trends, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements
Participate in ongoing operational and performance improvement initiatives
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and organizational information
Stay current through professional development and training
Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn EMR and PDS platforms
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High integrity with ability to handle confidential healthcare data
Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
High School Diploma or GED
0–1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
State Pharmacy Technician License (required)
PTCB certification (required)
