About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide integrated support to patients and physicians
Review and interpret clinician's patient care notes
Develop and refine clinical protocols
Monitor ongoing patient adherence
Evaluate EMR for medication adherence
Recommend therapeutic drug regimens
Medication therapy management (MTM)
Clinical interventions including comprehensive pharmacist consultation
Productivity monitoring and reporting
Identifying and resolving insurance related issues
Communicating with support personnel compliant with HIPPA rules
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
Licensed Pharmacist in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi
1+ years' experience strongly preferred
Deep knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge using EPIC/QS1/WILLOW software is a plus
