About the role

  • The QA Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of software products by designing, executing, and automating test processes.
  • This role emphasizes both manual and automated testing, continuous process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • QA Engineers play a key role in identifying bugs, improving efficiency, contributing to the QA team’s innovation efforts, and delivering consistent value to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assigned project tasks are delivered on time.
  • Tasks are fulfilled with minimal guidance.
  • Quick turnaround on bug fixes and feedback on implementation (QA, Lead, PM).
  • Delivered project tasks follow scope, specifications, and best practices.
  • Creates and executes detailed manual test cases for features and bug fixes.
  • Minimal rework; meets functional requirements, security, and quality standards.
  • Accurately identifies, documents, and tracks bugs early in the development cycle.
  • Ensures testing results and reports are delivered within expected timelines.
  • Performs thorough validation to help prevent client-reported issues.
  • Demonstrates ownership of assigned testing scope and meets quality and security standards.
  • Actively contributes to test automation implementation and enhancement to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and Agile principles.
  • Ability to design efficient test strategies (manual and automated).
  • Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, QA Touch).
  • Experience with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JUnit, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Professionalism in handling client and team interactions.
  • Open to a hybrid work setup.
