About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer general HR duties such as onboarding, benefits, career engagement, and employee relations.
- Cross-train and develop knowledge of all Human Resources functions to provide support across the HR department.
- Manage and coordinate ER case load.
- Handle and investigate complaints, grievances, and employee escalations.
- Provide expert guidance to management to resolve complex ER issues and ensure a fair and compliant resolution.
- Facilitate orientations and other presentations representing HR’s initiatives to new hires and existing employees.
- Assist with system updates and improvements for enhanced HR operations and efficiency.
- Develop and draft policies that relate to HR practices for improved employee experience and compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed Bachelor's degree (Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology preferred)
- 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a HR Generalist role
- Employee Relations experience, including managing end-to-end complex cases with minimal supervision.
- Thorough understanding of employment law, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software.
