About the role

  • Lead the design, deployment, and management of complex Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Architect and develop reusable IaC modules and frameworks using Terraform.
  • Design and implement advanced automation solutions using Python and Bash.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for Linux system orchestration.
  • Administer and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes-based container environments.
  • Lead incident response efforts and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior cloud engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with expertise in: Microsoft Azure.
  • Designing and implementing Terraform modules.
  • Scripting in Python with demonstrated ability to build complex automation frameworks.
  • Advanced Bash scripting and Linux system administration.
  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
  • Willingness to obtain one of the following certifications within first year of SHI employment required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Azure Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
