About the role
- Research software design documents for new or existing features to thoroughly understand the software under test
- Formulate and document test cases to test the efficacy and performance of web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Convert manual test plans into automated test software to ensure optimal test coverage
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to execute regular, thorough regression tests
- Report bugs in a concise, accurate, and reproducible way
- Work closely with teams of software developers and other engineers to solve complex test automation scenarios
- Attend regular meetings to facilitate collaboration between engineers and across teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of Software Development or Test Automation experience
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
- Experience with ticketing software (Jira, Rally, etc.)
- Experience with Selenium/Appium
- Experience working with teams of engineers within the Agile framework
- Strong language/communication skills
- Experience coding in Java
