About the role
- Develop automation code to test Windows desktop applications
- Improve the efficiency of the test suite for automated testing
- Formulate and document test cases to test efficacy and performance
- Research software design documents for new or existing features
- Accurately identify and isolate the root problem of software defects
- Report bugs found during testing in a concise and accurate manner
- Work closely with teams of software developers to ensure proper test coverage
- Attend regular meetings to facilitate collaboration across teams
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance (Interim ok)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Desktop Test Automation Engineering
- Proficiency in Java development experience
- Proficiency in developing tests with Playwright
- Experience with ticketing software (Jira, Rally, etc.)
- Experience writing/running automated test scripts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Must be a US citizen
