About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems
Perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems
Conduct various transformer tests and relay calibration
Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree in Electrical Power & Controls or EE Degree
NETA Certification (III or IV) or similar desired
5+ years of relevant experience performing switchgear testing & troubleshooting
Good PC skills including Microsoft Excel
Able to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures
Prefer OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
