About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems
- Conduct various transformer tests and relay calibration
- Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree in Electrical Power & Controls or EE Degree
- NETA Certification (III or IV) or similar desired
- 5+ years of relevant experience performing switchgear testing & troubleshooting
- Good PC skills including Microsoft Excel
- Able to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures
- Prefer OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
