About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform EHS audits of field locations.
  • Provide safety training and schedule third-party training as needed.
  • Respond in a timely manner to leadership requests.
  • Support other regions as needed for EHS audits.
  • Experienced in incident investigation and management, writing reports, and follow-up on investigations.
  • Manage the electrical safety program for the region.
  • Write site-specific safety plans for client locations and implement them.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Electrical industry experience is required.
  • Candidates must have prior experience supporting electrical construction, electrical testing, field services, industrial electrical safety, or related high-voltage/critical power operations.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, arc flash safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and electrical hazard mitigation is required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing EHS compliance in a multi-state operation and fast-paced environment.
  • Safety certification, CSP, and regulatory knowledge pertaining to EHS.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30.
  • Experienced conducting EHS audits in an environment with electrical work.
  • Proven record in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Physical conditions include ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, and stay on your feet while in the field in hot and cold temperatures and diverse types of weather.
  • Reliable and able to attend and engage in regular weekly and monthly meetings with the EHS team and VPs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS digital tools to capture metrics.
  • Skilled in communicating with operations, managers, and executive level.
