About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services on electrical distribution systems
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up on low, medium and high voltage electrical systems
  • Conduct transformer tests, relay calibration, and circuit breaker testing
  • Respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or EE Degree required
  • NETA Certification (I, II, III or IV) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in switchgear testing
  • Good PC skills including Excel; PowerDB experience a plus
  • Must adhere to electrical safety procedures
  • OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA training preferred
  • Drug-free and able to pass tests
  • Valid driver’s license with good record
  • Willing to work flexible hours and travel 40%
