Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all goals are aligned and met.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Requirements

What you’ll need

An education at the bachelor’s level in engineering or business management is highly preferred.
Specific industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of experience in operations/general management with full P&L responsibility of $5-10M + and at least 8-10+ employees, ideally in an engineering services or field services environment in manufacturing, MEP, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial.
Experience working with customers and building relationships.
Strong leadership and management skills with experience growing a business.
Self-starter.
Strong safely culture leadership experience.
A strong desire to "win"/competitive nature with a strong drive, energy, and motivation.
An interest and ability in being a hands-on leader.
Strong change management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
