About the role
- Own the product roadmap and lifecycle for Salesforce and Business Central.
- Align platform strategy with business objectives across functions
- Translate strategic goals into sequenced delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate platform enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog using Jira.
- Define and document detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Establish and enforce intake, prioritization, and release governance processes.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadence.
- Serve as decision authority for scope clarification and tradeoff decisions.
- Ensure predictable delivery timelines and transparency to stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Drive clarity in ambiguous requests and ensure alignment to business value.
- Coordinate and validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality outcomes.
- Directly manage Salesforce and Business Central administrators and developers.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Support hiring and scaling of the product team as needed.
- Maintain clear system documentation in Confluence.
- Create and distribute release notes and user communications.
- Communicate roadmap updates and platform impacts across business units.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ERP and/or CRM environments
- Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Salesforce
- 3+ years of experience in Product Owner, Product Manager, or senior functional leadership roles
- Experience leading agile delivery teams in enterprise environments
- Proven ability to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience managing or mentoring technical resources
- Strong understanding of system integrations and enterprise data flows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or Agile methodologies are a plus
