About the role
- Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical direction and career development support.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
- Perform or oversee: power systems analysis and design for utility and industrial applications, protective relaying system design, and integration, substation automation, electrical drawing packages, distribution system design, and upgrade specifications.
- Provide QA/QC on engineering deliverables and proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, field technicians, and clients.
- Support business development efforts by preparing technical proposals, estimates, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) Preferred
- 7+ years of progressive experience in power systems engineering
- 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel periodically to job sites (domestic)
