About the role
- Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support vendor onboarding, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and alignment with Shermco’s procurement policies.
- Track purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams (HR, Operations, Finance) to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor data for audit readiness and compliance.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance, addressing issues, and supporting vendor evaluation.
- Contribute to cost savings and efficiency improvement initiatives, supporting Shermco’s operational and financial goals.
- Serve as a point of contact for supplier inquiries regarding order status, invoicing, and payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 2+ years of procurement, supply chain, or administrative coordination experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/Procurement systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
