About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide senior engineering leadership to assigned terminals
  • Integrate Asset Management, Asset Integrity, Process Safety, Project Delivery and Operational Engineering activities
  • Act as the primary Engineering Focal Point for Terminal Operations and HSSE teams
  • Drive asset integrity, maintenance and inspection execution, operational reliability, process safety performance and project execution
  • Lead execution and continuous improvement of the Asset Management System and DGAME requirements
  • Develop and maintain Asset Master Plans
  • Ensure compliance with Group Standards, Technical Authority requirements, Performance Framework and regulations
  • Manage Safety Critical Equipment and operational barriers throughout their lifecycle
  • Lead process safety and major accident hazard prevention activities
  • Support HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, MOC and barrier management processes
  • Provide engineering assurance and technical leadership for operational, maintenance, integrity and project decisions
  • Coordinate inspection, maintenance and reliability programs
  • Lead investigations into equipment failures and recurring operational problems
  • Provide engineering leadership for capital and integrity-driven projects, including design reviews, construction, commissioning and start-up
  • Review contractor, consultant and engineering service provider deliverables
  • Manage engineering service providers, maintenance contractors and external consultants
  • Monitor contractor safety, quality, cost and schedule performance
  • Support compliance, assurance reviews, audits and closure of findings
  • Maintain engineering documentation, integrity records and compliance requirements
  • Integrate Operations, HSSE, Asset Integrity, Reliability, Project Delivery and Technical Authority workstreams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Native Turkish speaker with strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Terminal Operations, Petrochemical, Energy or Industrial Facilities
  • Experience in terminal operations, storage and handling facilities, oil and gas, petrochemical or industrial environments
  • Strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering background
  • Experience with electrical distribution systems, instrumentation and control systems, automation systems and safety-critical equipment
  • Experience in Asset Management Systems (AMS), Asset Integrity Management and reliability improvement programs
  • Understanding of Process Safety Management, engineering risk management and HSSE requirements
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering activities across electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and civil disciplines
  • Experience in project engineering, project delivery, construction activities and commissioning
  • Strong contractor and contract management experience
  • Experience supporting inspection, maintenance and reliability programs
  • Knowledge of asset reliability, integrity and lifecycle management principles
  • Ability to work across cultures, functions and geographical boundaries
  • Strong commercial mindset and business awareness
  • Familiarity with SAP and engineering or maintenance management systems
