About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Demonstrate excellent safety leadership and behaviors, ensuring that Shell’s HSSE expectations are communicated, maintained, and implemented.
Be a competent Isolation Owner and permit holder in Permit to Work (preferably P-Vision).
Actively participate in auditing as required and near miss reporting.
Organize safe preparation of equipment complying with the Work Instructions.
Understand and review Operating procedures, record changes, and follow due process to facilitate updates.
Knowledgeable in the Asset Management System and their role in it, specifically the Ensure Safe Production Process.
Responsible for the progression and sustainment of key operations qualifications and competencies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant years’ experience and qualifications within Frontline Operations & Maintenance or Production is highly desirable.
Control room operations experience would be very beneficial.
Educated to HNC Standard or equivalent in process or technical qualification desirable.
Trade background desirable.
Process qualification NVQ 3 or equivalent standard beneficial.
Strong understanding of COMAH site regulations and their associated interaction with site delivery.
Strong understanding of the work instructions to enforce compliance when executing day to day activities.
Self-motivated with good communication skills, a high degree of self-reliance with appropriate technical skills, to ensure prompt responses are made based on technical judgement.
