About the role
- Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in executing the sales lifecycle after deal approval.
- Draft, send, track, and file Insertion Orders (IOs).
- Assist in preparing media kits, decks, performance metrics, and rate cards for prospective clients.
- Maintain organized outreach documentation, deal trackers, and pipeline documents.
- Build campaign recaps and case studies for future pitches.
- Assist in client communication related to timelines, deliverables, and reporting.
- Help track unpaid invoices and coordinate billing follow-ups internally.
- Assist in the execution of daily email sends (2 per day: AM and PM).
- Coordinate sponsored email placements and ensure all assets and links are correctly implemented.
- Support scheduling of affiliate roundups, deal-focused emails, and seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain and segment email lists.
- Clean and manage lists in the ESP by removing non-deliverable contacts.
- Track and report on Open Rate (OR), Click-Through Rate (CTR), and engagement metrics.
- Assist in A/B testing subject lines and optimizing performance.
- Pull weekly reporting from affiliate platforms (Impact, Rakuten, CJ, AWIN, etc.).
- Monitor sales, revenue, and performance trends.
- Ensure affiliate links are implemented accurately for tracking.
- Identify new affiliate opportunities aligned with audience and revenue goals.
- Assist in building seasonal gift guides, retail roundups, Beauty Awards, Black Friday/Cyber Monday campaigns, and major tentpole events.
- Create product imagery and featured graphics using Canva.
- Create and schedule social posts for brands that purchase sponsored content packages.
- Support recurring deal campaigns and revenue-driving initiatives.
- Ensure FTC compliance across sponsored and affiliate content.
- Coordinate sweepstakes and email acquisition campaigns.
- Build entry forms and promotional assets.
- Communicate with partners regarding timelines, assets, and prize details.
- Track campaign performance and evaluate ROI and list quality.
- Assist in drawing winners and managing follow-up communications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in digital marketing (relevant internships count)
- Must have high energy and excellent communication skills in all environments (i.e., email, phone, and face-to-face)
- Must be proficient in Canva.
- A positive “can-do” attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets and pulling performance data.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and all other Google applications.
- Experience with affiliate platforms (Impact, Rakuten, CJ, AWIN) is a plus.
- Experience with ESPs (Mailjet, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience using WordPress or a similar CMS is preferred.
