About the role
- Lead data-driven strategic initiatives across email, SMS, mobile, and emerging channels, leveraging technical expertise and analytics to guide client success
- Lead modernization initiatives within client email programs, incorporating modular design systems, scalable templates, and AI-ready frameworks that future-proof marketing capabilities.
- Drive comprehensive AI readiness efforts by recommending systems and practices that enable clients to seamlessly adopt and scale AI-driven marketing technologies across channels
- Translate complex customer, behavioral, and campaign data into clear, high-impact insights and actionable recommendations
- Develop measurement frameworks, segmentation models, and testing roadmaps that drive innovation and optimize performance
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, inspiring them with forward-thinking strategies and solution-oriented approaches to challenges
- Continuously scan the marketplace for emerging trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into client strategies and internal best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—creatives, developers, data analysts, campaign managers—to bring big-picture strategies to life
- Deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and playbooks that communicate complex strategies in a compelling, client-friendly way
- Ensure all presentations are audience-appropriate and crafted to tell a clear, compelling story demonstrating strategic vision and measurable business impact
- Show up as confident and fluent in executive-level dialogue, and be able to connect marketing initiatives to overarching business goals and priorities
- Actively contribute to Shaw/Scott’s thought leadership by sharing insights, publishing perspectives, and elevating the company’s presence in the industry
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy
- Proven track record of innovative problem-solving and delivering measurable impact for clients
- Understanding of marketing technology ecosystems—including ESPs, CDPs, analytics tools, segmentation platforms, and data privacy best practices
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with comfort in data visualization
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to bridge the gap between technical complexity and executive-level decision-making.
- Must be adept at engaging with high-level stakeholders and capable of translating complex strategies into language and concepts that resonate
- Self-starting, organized, and adaptable—able to manage multiple projects without losing sight of the strategic vision.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
