About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn and perform production and distribution activities across entry-level manufacturing roles
- Place yarn cones onto creels to feed yarn into carpet tufting machines
- Operate carpet tufting machines and ensure high-quality carpet production and a safe work environment
- Operate machines that convert pellets or chips into usable carpet fibers or strands
- Operate and troubleshoot machines that sort and separate carpet scrap for recycling
- Learn to operate forklifts, lift trucks, and other material-handling vehicles for shipping, receiving, and manufacturing activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- No prior manufacturing experience necessary
- Training is provided for all entry-level roles
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, and push repetitively
- May need to climb ladders and stairs depending on the position
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs
- Must meet role-specific lifting, reach, and physical movement requirements
