About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with landscape architects, dealers, installers, distributors, contractors, etc. to select appropriate products for their projects and resale
  • Travel throughout assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business
  • Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining such as lunches, dinners or special events
  • Attend Regional and National Conventions when required
  • Implement the selling process in his/her area; they must have the ability to make good judgment decisions
  • Interface/communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
  • Give effective presentations to all potential customers to educate them on the turf industry

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 3+ years B2B sales or adjacent industry experience required
  • Up to 50% travel required
  • Must reside within Central Florida
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
  • Living in the greater Tampa area
  • Familiar with construction and project management processes
  • Knowledge of the landscape turf industry, or hardscapes industry
