About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, retrieve, and transport materials and pallets throughout the distribution warehouse.
- Maintain paperwork to receive and track materials as required.
- Wrap and band Hard Surface materials prepared on pallets.
- Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
- Read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
- Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
- Maintain clean and tidy workspaces.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience using computers to perform data entry and to read and interpret instructions.
- Able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on computer screens.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs to build pallets with boxes of carpet tiles.
- Not afraid of heights.
