Technical Solutions Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support commercial and residential sales teams by delivering technical product solutions
- Coordinate across internal teams and strengthen product specifications
- Develop and implement testing plans with internal and external teams
- Advise customers on flooring specifications, building code considerations, and building acoustics
- Lead customer calls and manage follow-up actions
- Create and present technical documentation, training materials, and product presentations
- Contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions for customer outcomes
- Support internal business partners as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of experience in flooring installation project management
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to learn technical concepts quickly
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and explain complex concepts to end users and customers
- Ability to travel approximately 10–15% (local and across the U.S.)
- Green Belt trained (required within the first 12 months of employment) is preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a technical, sales support, or customer service role is preferred
- Exposure to flooring installation or technical coordination is preferred
