About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Use a consultative approach with end users, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, etc. to select appropriate systems for their projects that fit within their usage requirements, budget, and time frame.
- Establish / maintain relationships and grow distribution partners
- Must be able to give presentations to end-users, school boards, facilities management personnel, senior level stake holders in athletic programs, architects, and engineers
- Travel throughout the assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business.
- Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining such as lunches, dinners, or special events.
- Attend Regional and National Conventions when required
- Establish a presence and relationship with end use networking groups in your territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years previous outside sales experience or qualified sales training program completion
- 50% to 75% Travel required
- Must reside within territory
