Territory Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in a geographical area
- Develop good relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity
- Daily sales calls on existing customers with special emphasis on the sale of soft surface flooring products
- Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users
- Analyze all leads provided by corporate reports
- Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more
- Prospect for viable new accounts
- Prepare reports of business transactions and sales showing sales volume and potential sales
- Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals
- Analyze sales statistics by reviewing computer reports specific to territory
- Analyze and control travel and entertainment expenditures
Requirements
What you’ll need- A High School Diploma/GED required
- Previous sales experience required
- Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers
- Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
- Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
- Must reside within territory (Buffalo, NY)
