Key responsibilities & impact
  • Daily sales calls on existing customers focusing on hard surface flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related floor products
  • Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users
  • Analyze leads provided by corporate reports
  • Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly
  • Prospect for viable new accounts while developing a keen awareness of market dynamics
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
  • Communicate periodic sales reports outlining sales information and goals, competitive market conditions, and product needs
  • Analyze sales statistics by reviewing computer reports specific to territory
  • Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com
  • Responsible for selling and promoting all residential products including Shaw Floors, A/T, and Philly Commercial and educating customers on these products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A High School Diploma/GED required
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
  • Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
  • Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
  • Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards (minivan or approved SUV)
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Must reside within territory - Warner Robins, Macon, or surrounding areas
