About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in a geographical area
- Develop relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust and integrity
- Daily sales calls on existing customers with special emphasis on the sale of soft surface flooring products, displays, adhesive, and related floor products
- Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users
- Analyze leads provided by corporate reports
- Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more on a regular basis
- Prospect for viable new accounts while developing awareness of the designated area
- Prepare reports of business transactions and sales showing volume and potential sales
- Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales and goals
- Analyze sales statistics to aid in formulating goals
- Control travel and entertainment expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com
- Responsible for selling and promoting all residential products including Shaw Floors, A/T and Philly Commercial
Requirements
What you’ll need- A High School Diploma/GED required
- Previous sales experience required
- Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
- Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
- Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
- Must reside within territory (Victoria, Corpus Christi, or Laredo, TX areas)
