Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in a geographical area
Develop relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust and integrity
Daily sales calls on existing customers with special emphasis on the sale of soft surface flooring products, displays, adhesive, and related floor products
Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users
Analyze leads provided by corporate reports
Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more on a regular basis
Prospect for viable new accounts while developing awareness of the designated area
Prepare reports of business transactions and sales showing volume and potential sales
Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales and goals
Analyze sales statistics to aid in formulating goals
Control travel and entertainment expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com
Responsible for selling and promoting all residential products including Shaw Floors, A/T and Philly Commercial

Requirements

What you’ll need

A High School Diploma/GED required
Previous sales experience required
Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
Must reside within territory (Victoria, Corpus Christi, or Laredo, TX areas)
