Territory Manager
Shaw IndustriesTerritory Manager maintaining Shaw’s profitability and market share in Florida. Focus on building relationships and selling carpet flooring products to various customers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in a geographical area
- Develop good relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity
- Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on carpet flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related products
- Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users
- Analyze leads provided by corporate reports
- Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more on a regular basis
- Continually prospect for viable new accounts
- Prepare reports of business transactions and sales volume
- Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals
- Analyze sales statistics to aid in formulating goals and assist dealers in promoting sales
- Analyze and control travel and entertainment expenditures as well as sample budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- A High School Diploma/GED required
- Previous sales experience required
- Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner
- Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office
- Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures
- Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product sample boards (approved vehicle classes: SUV’s or van-sized vehicles)
- Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis
- Must reside within Sarasota, FL territory
