About the role

  • Creating test procedures from written requirements
  • Automating pre-existing manual tests

  • Collaborating with a team of developers, QA engineers, and manual QA testers

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with markup languages (HTML, XML, YAML, etc.)
  • Familiarity with source control (git, SVN, MFTS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Postgres, etc.)
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (MSTest, MochaJS, Pytest, etc.)
  • Related technical skills (developer tools, XPath, regular expressions, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of OOP design principles
  • Timing issues debugging practices
  • Ability to teach yourself from technical documentation
