About the role
- Build and execute a data-driven content and merchandising strategy aligned with commercial goals and trading priorities.
- Manage onsite content across Intershop and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ensuring accuracy, clarity, strong product presentation, and a consistent brand experience.
- Maintain a clear content and merchandising calendar, coordinating timing for launches, campaigns, and trading moments.
- Create, upload, merchandise, proof, and audit product and campaign content to maximise visibility, relevance, and conversion.
- Optimise product detail pages, category structures, filters, navigation, and cross-sell/upsell placements to improve discovery and performance.
- Localise global content and ensure that the Benelux experience reflects relevant messaging, hierarchy, and onsite standards.
- Partner with SEO to build optimised landing pages that strengthen visibility and support key categories and campaigns.
- Use analytics tools to track performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, and customer journeys.
- Oversee daily site operations, including campaign rollouts, compliance updates, merchandising tweaks, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Trading, CRM, Paid Media, Product, UX, and global teams to ensure cohesive and high-impact onsite execution.
- Manage product data flow across systems such as Salsify and Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and complete product readiness.
- Provide clear insights and recommendations to elevate merchandising standards and support commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Proven experience managing and merchandising digital content within CMS platforms, with a strong eye for product presentation and onsite performance.
- Experience supporting or delivering onsite trading moments (campaigns, peak periods, new product launches).
- Demonstrated ability to turn insights into clear actions that improve conversion, merchandising performance, or user journeys.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance brand, UX, and revenue considerations in decision-making.
- The ability to work cross-functionally, manage stakeholders, and maintain high standards in proofreading and quality control.
- Understanding of UX principles and how to apply them to improve navigation, product discovery, and customer journeys.
- Confidence using basic HTML for content adjustments, troubleshooting, or localisation needs.
- Solid understanding of SEO and the ability to apply it to improve visibility, category strength, and landing page performance.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and ContentSquare is a plus.
