About the role

  • Take ownership of specific features from concept to pixel-perfect handoff
  • Translate requirements and user insights into initial wireframes, flows, UI concepts, and high fidelity mockups
  • Create interactive prototypes to validate ideas with users before engineering begins
  • Work daily with engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented correctly
  • Use data and research to advocate for the user, ensuring we never ship friction

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience shipping digital products (web or mobile) with a portfolio showcasing case studies
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain the rationale behind design decisions to non-designers
  • User Interface: Experience creating wireframes, flows, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Figma
  • Craft: A high bar for visual quality; understanding of how typography, color, and space affect usability
  • User-Centric: Experience conducting basic usability testing
  • Design Principles: Understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and basic accessibility standards.
