About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, coach, and grow a team of platform engineers across Infrastructure, DevOps, and Developer Experience
Set technical direction for platform architecture and ensure roadmap execution
Balance short-term delivery with long-term investments in tooling, infrastructure, and reliability
Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling in a regulated environment
Design and build AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows
Improve developer productivity across onboarding, CI/CD, and local-to-production workflows
Ensure systems are secure, scalable, observable, and resilient
Own incident management practices, postmortems, and on-call rotation sustainability
Collaborate with product engineering, security, and compliance stakeholders
Connect platform initiatives to business and customer impact

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles
3+ years managing and growing high-performing teams
Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, CI/CD tooling, and GitOps
Experience operating production systems and supporting on-call rotations
Ability to set technical direction across developer experience and infrastructure
Strong collaboration and communication skills focused on business impact
Comfort using AI tools for development, debugging, and learning
Fluency in English required
Bonus: experience in fintech or other regulated environments
Bonus: prior Staff or Senior Engineer experience before management
Bonus: interest in Bitcoin
