About the role

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for a portfolio of eCommerce retainer clients.
  • Lead weekly client calls, drive clear agendas, and control next steps.
  • Run quarterly strategy reviews, performance reporting, and roadmap planning.
  • Manage escalations with calm, direct communication and fast resolution.
  • Protect scope, manage expectations, and keep accounts healthy.
  • Set lifecycle strategy across flows, campaigns, segmentation, and testing.
  • Translate performance into decisions using revenue attribution, deliverability signals, engagement trends, and offer performance.
  • Partner with creative and copy to develop briefs that convert, then iterate based on results.
  • Ensure clean QA across links, tracking, dynamic content, brand voice, and compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate a pod of specialists (Klaviyo builders, copy, design).
  • Assign work, unblock execution, and enforce quality standards.
  • Hold weekly internal production reviews, prioritize workload, and keep timelines tight.
  • Coach team members through feedback, reviews, and performance expectations.
  • Own ClickUp workflows for your accounts, including task quality, timelines, and visibility.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement better SOPs, templates, and QA systems.
  • Raise the bar on how the agency communicates, reports, and ships work.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in email and lifecycle marketing for eCommerce brands.
  • 2+ years managing clients in an agency or retainer environment.
  • 1+ years leading a team, pod, or cross-functional delivery group.
  • Strong Klaviyo experience across flows, campaigns, segmentation, deliverability basics, and reporting.
  • Confidence presenting performance and strategy to founders and senior marketers.
  • Strong written communication. You can turn messy inputs into clear plans.
