About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, verify and approve product specifications, artwork, pack copy and labelling against current and emerging UK and EU legislation.
Provide expert regulatory advice and guidance to clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on consumer product compliance requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, design agencies and other key stakeholders.
Monitor regulatory developments, industry trends and codes of practice, ensuring accurate and up-to-date advice is delivered.
Support continuous improvement through the development of compliance processes, technical checklists, training materials and best practice guidance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience with a minimum of 5 years in a regulatory affairs or product quality role
Strong knowledge of UK and EU consumer product legislation, labelling requirements and industry codes of practice
Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong communication skills with the confidence to advise and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Experience
Experience working with major retailers, manufacturers or consumer product brands.
Knowledge of regulatory software, compliance management systems or digital compliance tools.
Experience supporting process improvement, quality systems or change management initiatives.
Professional qualifications in regulatory affairs, quality assurance or related disciplines.
