Business Development Manager – Environmental Compliance

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the sale of analytical services to existing and prospected customers
- Secure business opportunities to meet revenue targets
- Generate revenue for SGS services
- Generate leads and sales through client and prospect relationship development
- Close sales on prospective clients and maintain functional relationship with major accounts
- Develop relationships with current clients to maintain and obtain additional business
- Market research to assist in annual marketing and sales plan
- Attend annual conference and assist with organization and implementation of marketing and sales activities
- Generate proposals for existing clients and prospects
- Follow-up with new clients to ensure needs are met and expand business
- Discuss new trends or programs with management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience
- 5+ years of experience in business development and/or sales
- Proven experience in business development
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive results under pressure
- In-depth understanding of global regulatory frameworks
- Strong ability to create tailored business cases to win new customers
- Demonstrated success in networking, selling, and establishing relationships with senior decision-makers
- Solid understanding of innovative approaches to business development and sales
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics
