About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support business priorities, organizational changes, and leadership messaging.
- Partner with HR, HSE, IT, Finance and business line leaders to ensure clear, aligned, and timely communication across the region.
- Build integrated communication plans that leverage email, intranet, SharePoint, Teams, video, and other internal channels.
- Write, edit, and publish high quality content including announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, FAQs, talking points, and campaign materials.
- Manage and optimize internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams, intranet hubs) to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and easy to navigate.
- Maintain editorial calendars and ensure a consistent cadence of communication across business lines.
- Develop internal marketing campaigns that support culture, engagement, recruitment, recognition, and organizational initiatives.
- Support leadership visibility through presentations, scripts, messaging frameworks, and event communications.
- Track communication performance and engagement metrics; use insights to refine content, channels, and strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, templates, and workflows.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and internal stakeholders, helping them communicate effectively and consistently.
- Collaborate with global communications teams to ensure alignment with corporate messaging, brand standards, and global initiatives.
- Support crisis or urgent communications as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in marketing and/or communications or related field of study
- 5–7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or employee engagement roles within a mid- to large‑scale organization.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience managing internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams, intranet tools).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands‑on experience managing internal communication channels such as SharePoint, Teams, intranet platforms, email systems, survey tools such as Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms/ Survey Monkey and digital signage.
- Strong background in cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with HR, Finance IT, HSE, and business line leaders to ensure message alignment and clarity.
