About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the direction and management of a team of sales and customer service agents
- Collaborates with senior management to develop sales strategies
- Manage Customer Service function in support of sales and invoicing
- Defines, tracks, and manages sales teams KPI/Metrics
- Maximize efficiencies of customer service organization for ultimate client satisfaction
- Generate leads and sales through client and prospect relationship development
- Close sales on prospective clients and maintain relationship with major accounts
- Develop relationships with current clients and obtain additional business
- Obtain master service agreements with perspective clients
- Conduct market research and assist in annual marketing and sales plan
- Attend annual conference and assist with marketing and sales activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field in science or engineering
- 7+ years working in business development or sales
- Master’s degree in relevant field in science, engineering, or business
- Business development experience in a CDMO environment preferred
- 3+ years of previous supervisory experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
