About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability
  • Manage and optimise containerised environments
  • Support and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, proactively identifying and resolving performance, availability, and security issues
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment frequency, reduce lead time, and enhance system stability
  • Integrate security best practices into development and deployment processes (DevSecOps approach)
  • Contribute to defining standards, documentation, and best practices across development and operations
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis across applications, infrastructure, and environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Solid hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Strong knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK stack, or similar)
  • Experience with workflow automation and job scheduling tools
  • Advantageous: experience as a Microsoft .NET developer and familiarity with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and API Management solutions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Curious mindset and willingness to continuously learn and develop
  • Fluency in English
