About the role
- Generate revenue utilizing a consultative selling approach
- Cultivate new business opportunities and develop long-term business partnerships within the food industry
- Assess customer needs and create solutions based on the product portfolio
- Achieve sales targets and increase revenue through solutions applicable for clients’ businesses
- Cover the Southeast region of the US and maintain customer satisfaction
- Develop a database of qualified leads in the CRM system
- Sell and make recommendations on various solutions offered by the company
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities
- Create effective proposal presentations and RFP responses
- Participate in educational programs offered to clients
- Assist in the implementation of marketing plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Sales
- Experience with ISO standards
- A true sales “hunter” attitude driven to achieve sales goals
- Resilient and persistent in closing deals
- Advanced level of English knowledge
- Intermediate level of mathematical skills
- Advanced level reasoning skills and abilities
- Technical selling skills and product knowledge in product sectors
- Customer and commercial focus
- Attention to detail
- Effective team player with ability to operate without close supervision
- Intermediate user proficiency in MS Office Suite
