About the role

  • Responsible for applying principles of accounting to perform general accounting duties
  • Work closely with the Business Controller and assist with timely and accurate monthly financial statements
  • Perform Fixed Assets Audits and ad hoc reporting
  • Support internal departments by giving direction and providing accurate financial results
  • Analyze actual results against expected performance and communicate areas for improvement
  • Assist Business Controller in the entire financial cycle, including budgeting/forecasting, internal and external audits, and reconciliations
  • May train junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of experience, including experience with month/year end close
  • 2-3 years’ experience with financial systems (Oracle Projects)
  • English – Advanced level proficiency
  • Advanced level proficiency in mathematical skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment
