About the role

  • Generate revenue utilizing a consultative selling approach
  • Cultivate new business opportunities and develop long-term business partnerships within the clients in the food industry
  • Assess customer needs, create solutions based on the product portfolio
  • Achieve sales targets and increase revenue through selling clients SGS solutions
  • Develop and implement business/marketing plan to meet personal and business goals
  • Work within sales and support teams for customer satisfaction and revenue generation
  • Maintain a database of qualified leads in CRM system
  • Sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients
  • Generate proposals in compliance with Accreditation Body requirements
  • Maximize opportunities within the sales process
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities
  • Gather and submit business information for pricing
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses
  • Participate in development of educational programs for clients
  • Maintain effective working relationships with support departments
  • Assist in implementation of company marketing plans
  • Comply with SGS policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in the TIC industry certification sales focused on the food industry
  • Experience with ISO standards
  • A true sales “hunter” with a “can’t fail” attitude driven to achieve sales goals
  • Resilient and persistent in closing deals
  • Advanced level of English knowledge
  • Intermediate level of mathematical knowledge
  • Advanced level technical selling skills and product knowledge in product sectors
  • Customer and commercial focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create rapport, credibility and build successful business relationships
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective team player with ability to operate without close supervision
  • Intermediate user proficiency in MS Office Suite
