About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploy and administer UNIX and Linux operating systems (AIX, SUSE, Oracle Linux and Red Hat)
Manage and administer IBM Power environments
Deploy and administer Storage solutions (Hitachi, Pure, IBM, Dell) and SAN networks (Cisco and Brocade)
Configure and administer high-availability clusters (HACMP and Pacemaker) in SAP environments
Deploy and administer virtualized environments with VMware
Manage and deploy resources in Microsoft Azure using Terraform, including:
Virtual machines
Load balancers
Storage accounts
Disks
Familiarity with infrastructure for SAP applications
Work in an agile model with DevOps practices, following code and deployment standards defined by the architecture
Perform analysis and resolution of complex incidents and problems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced English (able to conduct technical calls and interpret complex documentation)
Strong experience with Unix/Linux systems
Knowledge of infrastructure for SAP applications
Experience with Terraform (infrastructure as code)
Knowledge of LDAP
Experience with virtualized environments and Microsoft Azure cloud
Experience with agile methodologies and a DevOps culture
Strong troubleshooting skills
