About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to the Resident District Manager
- Perform activities such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information, and scheduling appointments
- Write types or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence
- Prepare issues and send out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks
- Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine problems
- Conduct research when necessary
- Operate various office machines
- Open and route incoming mail, answer correspondence and prepare outgoing mail
- Answer telephone, convey messages and run errands
- May receive, count, and deposit cash, as needed
- May include human resources functions for the unit and the district
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
- Report all accidents and injuries promptly
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments
- Attend training programs as designated
- Serve as a lead unit clerk performing advanced clerical duties by standard procedures
- Multi-task performing various clerical duties as needed
- May perform general accounting and complete financial reports according to policy
- May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years related experience
- Must have basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.)
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing
- Maturity of judgment and behavior
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule is helpful
- Must comply with any dress code requirements
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Attends work and shows up for a scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
